My Favorite Baseball
Player This is Don at bat. The
position that he plays is catcher. Even in the heat of the summer he
suits up in all the extra pads and head gear to protect his body
from injury. I can't tell you how many times he reveals those ugly
bruises. They look painful but he simply smiles and says, It
doesn't hurt." I think to him, they are like war wounds.
Our Family Angel Eric Christopher Bell, my nephew, who now lives in heaven
with our Father. I'm certain that he watches over his wife
Stephanie, his twin daughters, Elyssa and Katie, his son
Matthew, sister Jodi, brother Dustin, and his Mom and Dad -
Joyce and Harry. Eric is missed very much but will never be
forgotten.
In loving memory May 7, 1975 -
April 13, 1999
This is Chris, Our
Youngest Chris recently graduated
from The Art Institute of Colorado where he received his
bachelors degree in Media Arts and Animation. Chris loves to spend
time with his sweetie Venessa. They met while attending the same
college. Together they collect action figurines (of all
kinds) and comic books. One visit through their apartment
is like visiting a museum or an art gallery. You can't see it all in
one visit. We look forward to our visits to see what
they have added to their
collection.
This is Mandi, Our Baby Girl (Only
Girl) I love this picture of
our daughter Amanda and grand-daughter Morgan. This was taken
at Morgan's Pre-K graduation - the graduating high school class of
2019 - Yikes! Mandi looks into the eyes of Morgan but has to
see a reflection of herself. Morgan is our little miracle child. God
sent all two pounds and fourteen ounces of her to
remind us of the miracle of His creation. She was a fighter
then and she is a fighter now. Thank you Lord!
Our Newest Addition to
the Family This is Emily Ryan. She
is our Valentine baby. She is also Morgan's sister. Emily loves to
be held and will let you know without question when she wants to be
held. She's famous for falling asleep while eating. I think that's
the sign of a full tummy and good appetite. As seen in the photo,
she's sure to be working on her own recipes very soon.
Emily
delights the family with her unique little personality and
contagious smile.
This is Tim, Our Middle
Son This is a picture
that I took of our son Tim and his two daughters Bailey and Meghan
while visiting in California. We were enjoying the cool breeze that
followed the waves that hypnotized us as we watched them reach
the shore leaving treasures along the beach and the taste of salt on
our lips. Tim's family moved back to Colorado this
year and that makes Grandma and Grandpa very
happy.
Our Oldest Son and
Grandson This is Tony and his son
Kyler. In this picture they are dying Easter eggs which is a very
big deal around our house. We spend hours making each egg a
masterpiece. Tony recently graduated from the Denver School of
Massage Therapy (way to go Tony!). Tony and his wife Joan are
expecting a baby girl in October. Langley Joss is sure to be a
wonderful addition to the family. Kyler looks forward to his new
sister.
Kyler is very active in football and baseball. Every
chance we get, we love watching him play. Grandpa thinks he's a
natural at baseball.
Gracie and
Molly Gracie is a black lab/boxer mix. We
adopted her 2 1/2 years ago. She was picked up as a
stray when she was only 10 weeks old. Our neighbor told us about the
stray and when we visited her - it was love at first
sight. She's made a wonderful addition to our family.
Most
recently we added Molly Brown. She's a chocolate lab that we adopted
from a local breeder. She was 11 weeks old in this
picture. She has become Gracie's playmate and best friend. They can
play for hours in the backyard. I'm sure Gracie will be a wonderful
big sister to Molly. |
